PBTE launches online fees challan form system

Lahore: Punjab Board of Technical Education (PBTE) on Thursday launched online bank challan form to receive all kind of fees.

The chairperson of PBTE Ms Saima Javed inaugurated the latest system in a ceremony. While speaking on the event, she said the complete examination system of the PBTE starting from registration up to issuance of diploma was completely computerized and now the bank challan system was also made online.


Ms Saima Javed said promotion of technical education was important for the development of the country, adding the PBTE was trying really hard to improve the technical education Punjab and achieve the vision of Chief Minister Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif.

The chairperson of PBTE said that the new system will facilitate all the affiliated institutes and candidates appearing in the exams.

“The PBTE also offers its services to the candidates belonging to Islamabad, Azad Jammu & Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan”, she said and added because of such a big geographical spread the institutes and candidates were facing great difficulty in resolving their small issues and had to visit PBTE office.

“Now PBTE is facilitating its over 850 institutes and almost 400,000 candidates via online interface and offering online facility of registration, admission data, roll number slips, registration cards, diploma/ result card verification, practical result entry as well as preparation of practical examiners’ bill and result gazette etc.

The chairperson of PBTE Ms Saima Javed appreciated the performance of the IT team of board consisting of Ms Syeda Fatima Iqbal (Computer Programmer), Muhammad Umer (Computer Programmer) and Ms Javeria Qazi (Web Administrator) under the leadership of Zulfiqar Ahmad Cheema (System Analyst).

She expected that the computer section development team will continue to help the PBTE management in the uplifting of the board by introducing more computerization.

PBTE secretary Imtiaz Nazir, Controller Examination Engr Muhammad Arshad, Deputy Secretary Muhammad Suleman, and others officers were also present there.
