Students’ Week 2017 has concluded in a graceful ceremony here at Air University main campus here, says a press release.
Chief guest of ceremony, Air University Vice Chancellor Air Vice Marshal (r) Faaiz Amir said that the students’ week of the year was full of life with multiple events including sports, athletics, debate, poetry, singing, writing and many other competitions.
He particularly mentioned the orchestrating of a glorious cultural night during the students’ week. He said this week has many life-long memories for the students who won in the competitions through their efforts and also for those who stood runner-up. He said victory is a product of hardworking, commitment and dedication and the same is a lesson for all those who intend to get triumph in life. In his speech, he appreciated the Air University School of Management for organizing a wonderful Students’ Week of the year. He admired the whole University’s management involved in the organising of the events throughout the week. He said the combination of education, sports and cultural events is pride of Air University culture where a well-trained faculty is always available for students’ educational and moral growth to represent the county as proud ‘Airian’.
The closing ceremony was attended by Senior Dean of University, Prof. Dr Zafarullah Koreshi, Fazaia Medical College Principal Major General (r) Prof. Salman Ali, Director Academics, AVM (r) Tariq Matin, Registrar, Air Commodore (r) Muhammad Saleem, Director Exams, Air Commodore (r) Muhammad Azhar Rana, Director Quality, Air Commodore (r) Abdul Wahab Motla, Director ORIC, Air Commodore (r) Afzaal Ahmed Khan, Deans, Chair Departments, Faculty members from all departments and many other University officials. At the end of the ceremony, vice chancellor and senior dean distributed the gold, silver medals and trophies amongst the winners.
