To observe the practical training being imparted to the trainees under the current phase of Prime Minister’s Youth Skill Development Program, the executive director NAVTTC, Zulfiqar Ahmad Cheema, visited various training institutes today including Govt. College of Technology, Rasul of District Mandi Bahauddin and Applied Technology Institute, Dina.
Our target is to train millions of unemployed young boys and girls in diversified trades so that they are able to earn their livelihood and become useful citizens of the country, he said.
He inspected the workshops and laboratories of institutes and inquired the trainees and instructors about the quality of training.
He advised the students to focus on the training so that they are in a better position to secure jobs both at local and international market.
He assured them to provide full assistance to the trainees who intend to set up their businesses after completing the training.
Principal of Applied Technology Institute, Dina, Col. Rtd. Zulfiqar Ali briefed the executive director about the activities of the institute. Zulfiqar Cheema directed the principal of Govt. College of Technology, Rasul, Engr. Imtiaz Ahmad to focus more on the practical aspects of the training.
