Students Depict Indian Atrocities In IHK In Posters

ISLAMABAD, Feb 4 (Pakistan Point News - 04th Feb, 2017 ): The Nazriya Pakistan Council (NPC) Saturday held a posters' competition among the students of twin cities in collaboration with a youth organization AFAQ Leader's Club in connection with the Kashmir Day. About 50 students participated in this competition making posters highlighting the atrocities of the Indian forces against the people of Indian Held Kashmir (IHK), said a press release.


The paintings elaborately depicted the suppression sustained by the people of Kashmir with bravery, courage and undefeatable determination. It also sent a clear message to the international community that people of Kashmir were not going to compromise against their right of self-determination. Inaugurating the competition, Chairman Qaumi Yakjehti Council Naseem Ahmad Usmani maintained that the posters were a reflection of the sentiments of every Pakistani in relation to the Kashmir cause.

He also said it was high time for the world leaders to play their role for the settlement of the Kashmir dispute so as to maintain peace in the region. This was also an unchangeable stance of every Pakistani that "we will not give up on the support of the freedom struggle of the Kashmiri people," he added. Speaking on this occasion, renowned writer of children literature Doctor Iftikhar Khokar, educationist Umair Madani and Anjum Khaleeq also appreciated the work of the students. They said the posters were a clear message for everybody to understand the situation in Kashmir as well as the feelings of Pakistanis regarding Kashmiri people with whom they have strong religious, cultural and geographical relations. Six of the best posters selected by the judges were awarded shields in the end.
