Islamabad Mayor and Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chairman Sheikh Anser Aziz said education was the foundation of civilization, prosperity and progress, adding that the future of the country depends on education.
He expressed these views while addressing as chief guest at 30th Annual Day of CDA Model School.
Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has a vision to uplift educational standard in Pakistan and up gradation of schools in Islamabad is one such example, he said.
We will contribute with all our energies to promote the PM’s vision to elevate education standards in Islamabad, he added.
Aziz said CDA Model School is jewel in the crown of the authority and all our efforts will be utilised to further upgrade education standards and facilities at the school. He added that its students have been traditionally performing up to the mark and that people who studied at CDAQ Model School are contributing to development of Pakistan in various departments and capacities.
We want CDA School to continue with traditions of excellence, Sheikh Anser Aziz further said on the occasion. Capital distributed certificates among students during the ceremony.
