ISLAMABAD: Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) will set up eight FM radio stations at regional headquarters by the end of this year to provide media support to the students in their academic pursuits.
This was said here on Monday at the annual progress-review presentation meeting of the university's Institute of Educational Technology (IET). The meeting was presided over by the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shahid Siddiqui who announced that all necessary measures would be taken for capacity-building of the staff engaged in students-related services.
The AIOU, he added, would continue to hold professional development's workshops. In the present era of a fast-changing scenario, he said only those learning organisations could survive that adopt result-oriented techniques.
